Responsibilities
Position Overview
Join our 10-week program in our Research & Development process engineering team to gain an understanding of the department's initiatives by working with R&D and operations to solve issues at Bob Evans manufacturing facilities . Projects could include but are not limited to assisting BEF R&D with process optimization for new product launches and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible for positively impacting Bob Evan’s business and consumers by completing challenging and meaningful projects. Accountabilities
- Work on process standardization throughout multiple sku’s
- Create process diagrams based on standard processes
- Collaborate with operations and project engineering to assist with new project implementation
- Assist with product trials
- Work with continuous improvement to identify waste/inefficiencies contributing to downtime or yield loss within production
- Work with product scientists to create/adjust manufacturing specs
- Manage multiple assignments/tasks
- Travel to multiple BEF plants/locations
