Whether you’re designing next-gen processors, enabling AI breakthroughs, or bringing leading edge products to market, every role at AMD contributes to something bigger — technology that moves the world forward. Join us and, together, we’ll advance your career.
THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead BIOS Firmware Architect to develop and deliver next-generation BIOS for AI and accelerated computing platforms. In this leadership role, you will drive the design, development, debugging, validation, and deployment of system BIOS powering large-scale AI training and inference infrastructure. As a technical leader, you will work closely with silicon architects, platform hardware teams, BMC developers, operating system engineers, ODM/OEM partners, and hyperscale customers to define firmware architecture, enable next-generation technologies, and deliver secure, reliable, and highly scalable GPU-accelerated server platforms.
THE PERSON The Lead BIOS Firmware Engineer will provide technical leadership for platform SBIOS development, silicon enablement, reference code integration, and firmware architecture across cloud and AI server platforms. You will lead firmware strategy through planning, design, development, bring-up, validation, customer qualification, and production deployment phases. You will mentor engineers, drive technical excellence, and serve as a key technical interface between firmware, hardware, silicon, validation, and customer teams.
