Job Description:
Responsible for performing ESS (Environmental Stress Screening) testing on a variety of test items. Also includes performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework, quality, and ATP testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Essential Functions:
- Run & program profiles for electrodynamic vibration shakers and thermal chambers interpreted from test documents.
- Ability to collect, analyze and decipher recorded test data.
- Review and execute acceptance test plans and procedures for Qualification & Production programs on a wide variety of electromechanic systems.
- Support qualification test programs
- Perform troubleshooting on top level and component level units.
- Assist engineers in performing engineering test & evaluations (ET&E) for R&D and production programs.
- Provide feedback to test engineers to improve test processes/methodologies.
- Observe industry best practices for FOD, ESD, and material handling controls.
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
Qualifications:
• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience with hand & power tools.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York (Greater NYC Area) is $27.40 MIN - $50.96 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
