City/State Chesapeake, VA Work Shift Weekend Days Overview: Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a Registered Nurse.

Overview: The Direct Care Registered Nurse - Home Health and Hospice Provides high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes or hospice settings, ensuring comfort, dignity, and emotional support during end-of-life care.

Anticipated Status/Shift: Full Time (36 hours/week) Weekend Day Shift (8AM - 8PM, weekend days)

Education

Certification/Licensure

Experience

• 1 year of nursing experience (Required) • Previous Home Care/Hospice experience (Preferred) • Develops, implements, and evaluates plans of care for specific patient populations (Preferred) • Manages a patient case load through coordination and collaboration with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate integrated and comprehensive care (Preferred) • Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas (Preferred) • Keywords: registered nurse, hospice, RN, talroo-nursing, skilled care, direct patient care, home care 
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $87,214.40 - $126,900.80 annually. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
