Position Specific Description NextEra Energy’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) division is looking for a Category Specialist to support Engineering and Construction initiatives from strategy through execution. In this highly collaborative role, the Category Specialist will partner with Engineering and Project Managers to build compelling bid packages, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms & conditions, navigate commercial challenges, and help drive successful project outcomes. We’re looking for someone who brings confident negotiation and communication skills, strong business judgment, exceptional attention to detail, and the initiative to independently move cross-functional priorities forward. Legal experience is a plus. This position is based in Juno Beach, Florida.

Job Overview This role supports the category management function with source-to-pay activities and oversees sourcing related activities to ensure alignment with category strategies. Employees in this role regularly meet with Business Units (BUs) to collect requirements and feedback and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for categories in scope. This role meets with stakeholders on strategy development and regularly participates in cross-functional meetings.
