A Category Manager is responsible for the overall performance, growth, and operations of a specific business category. At Eduport, this could mean managing a category such as NEET/JEE coaching or online learning. Key responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning – Set category goals, develop strategies, and create action plans to achieve targets.
- Performance Management – Track revenue, admissions, student enrolments, costs, and other key KPIs.
- Team Management – Coordinate with academic, sales, marketing, operations, and other teams to achieve category goals.
- Product & Service Development – Identify student needs and improve courses, programs, and learning experiences.
- Budget & Revenue – Manage the category budget, control costs, and improve profitability.
- Data Analysis – Analyse performance reports, identify gaps, and make data-driven decisions.
- Execution & Accountability – Ensure plans are implemented on time and team members are accountable for results.
