B. Job Profile / Duties and Responsibilities:
KPI’s
- Minimum 6–8 years of hands-on experience in modelling, developing, and implementing SAP BPC Planning & Consolidation solutions , including at least one full lifecycle consolidation implementation .
- Good working experience with SAP BPC 10.0 / 10.1 NW (NetWeaver) .
- Strong functional and technical integration knowledge across SAP ERP (FI/CO) and SAP BW , including interfaces to SAP BPC.
- Deep understanding of BPC system design principles , including:
- Application modelling (dimensional architecture)
- Hierarchy and property design
- Administration activities
- BPC Security (Task Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Teams)
- Consolidation business rules
- Good hands-on experience with:
- Consolidation Methods
- Ownership Manager
- Consolidation Controls
- Proven ability in designing complex input schedules and advanced EPM reports (dynamic, property-driven, scalable).
- Working knowledge of:
- Script Logic
- Business Rules
- BADIs
- Advanced Excel functions (Lookups, Arrays, VBA when required)
- Good experience with end-to-end master data and transactional data flows from ECC → BW → BPC , including:
- Transform & conversion files
- Mappings
- Data Manager packages
- Experience in requirement gathering , fit-gap analysis , and converting business needs into comprehensive functional designs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across business and IT teams.
- Strong capability to coach, mentor, and guide junior consultants through the project lifecycle.
