Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT) Location: Iowa Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary The LMFT will work with individuals, couples, and families who are experiencing conflict, communication problems, parenting concerns, relationship changes, or other issues affecting family life. The therapist will help clients examine patterns within their relationships, address concerns as they arise, and work toward healthier ways of communicating and responding to one another. This position also includes responsibility for clinical records, case follow-up, and referrals when a client needs services outside the scope of therapy. Responsibilities
• Conduct virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Conduct virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Review family history, relationship concerns, and current circumstances
- Help clients address communication difficulties, conflict, parenting concerns, and major life changes
- Establish a clear focus for therapy based on the issues discussed during sessions
- Maintain complete and current clinical records
- Recognize when additional services or outside referrals may be appropriate
- Respond to clinical or safety concerns according to established procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and follow Iowa licensing and professional requirements
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Active LMFT license in Iowa
- Previous clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families
- Comfortable providing services through telehealth
- Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
