Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Location: Iowa Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Job Summary We are hiring an LMHC licensed in Iowa to provide counseling to clients through telehealth. You will work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship problems, and other concerns that are affecting their everyday lives. The role includes regular counseling sessions, intake work, documentation, and follow-up with clients when needed. Responsibilities
• Provide individual counseling through telehealth
- Provide individual counseling through telehealth
- Complete intake sessions and review client history
- Talk with clients about the concerns bringing them to therapy
- Help clients work through emotional and behavioral challenges
- Keep session notes and client records up to date
- Follow up on concerns that need additional attention
- Respond appropriately to safety or crisis concerns
- Make referrals when other services are needed
- Follow Iowa LMHC licensing and professional requirements
• Active LMHC license in Iowa
- Active LMHC license in Iowa
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical counseling experience
- Strong experience with telehealth or willingness to work fully remote
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy approaches
- Comfortable using EHR systems and virtual platforms
