Virginia LPC Telehealth Counselor Location: Virginia Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Position Summary We are hiring a Virginia-licensed LPC to provide outpatient counseling through telehealth. You will work with clients facing anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, and other issues that may affect daily life. The position involves managing scheduled appointments, completing clinical evaluations, maintaining case documentation, and providing ongoing counseling based on each client’s needs. Key Responsibilities
• Provide individual counseling through secure video sessions
- Provide individual counseling through secure video sessions
- Complete intake evaluations and gather relevant clinical history
- Identify concerns that should be addressed during therapy
- Establish clear and appropriate treatment goals
- Provide counseling for a range of emotional and behavioral health concerns
- Maintain accurate progress notes and required clinical records
- Review changes in symptoms or circumstances throughout care
- Discuss follow-up needs and next steps with clients
- Respond appropriately when risk or safety concerns arise
- Follow Virginia LPC licensing, ethical, and telehealth requirements
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC license in Virginia
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC license in Virginia
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field
- Experience providing counseling or psychotherapy to adults, families, or individuals
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems
- Strong written documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote clinical environment
- Must be able to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality in virtual care
