Schedule: Various Schedules Available Location: Ovation Sienna Hills; 1525 East Ovation Place; Washington, UT 84780 Apply at www.TeamAvamere.com Job Summary The caregiver's duties encompass a wide range of tasks, including assisting with activities of daily living, emotional support, housekeeping, and ensuring the resident's safety and well-being. Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs):
• Personal Hygiene: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Mobility Assistance: Supporting residents with walking, transferring, and using mobility aids.
- Meal Preparation: Assisting with setting up meals, cutting up food if needed, and removing trays from rooms.
- Emotional Support and Companionship:
- Providing Emotional Support: Offering empathy, listening to residents, and providing encouragement.
- Companionship: Engaging in conversations, activities, and social interactions to combat loneliness and isolation.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment, including laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.

• Observing residents for changes in health, reporting concerns to medical professionals, and monitoring vital signs.

• Answer resident calls for assistance timely. • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe work environment for residents, staff, and visitors. • Maintain a safe work environment. Report safety concerns in the resident apartments to the supervisor. • Assists with the orientation of new residents and staff when assigned. • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor. Requirements Requirements and Qualifications
• Prefer experience as a Caregiver in a Memory Care Unit and or Assisted Living Facility. • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain active CPR/First Aid Certification during employment. • Must have the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card. • Experience in electronic medical records documentation. • Must be 18 years or older. • Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
