About the job
FULL TIME / HYBRID/ SAN DIEGO, CA We’re Raindrop, a creative agency built for brands that want to stand out and create marketing that people love. We’re scrappy, sharp, and slightly obsessive (peep our prop closet). From breakout DTC legends like Dr. Squatch to household names like Native, we help brands grow, scale, and create IMPACT. Our team punches above its weight because we hire people who care about the craft, our clients, each other, and making things we’re proud of. THE WORK As a Social Media Manager, you’ll work closely with a team dedicated to a national-name client. You’ll turn big brand goals into smart, culturally relevant social that people want to watch, share, and engage with.
• Own the execution. You’ll build content plans across TikTok, Meta, X, LinkedIn, and whatever platform comes next based on high-level strategy and campaign ideas. • Make a lot of great work. Create a high volume of content from idea to final, making sure every piece feels on-brand, intentional, and worth stopping for. • Stay in the moment. Keep your finger on what’s happening online and know when a trend, conversation, or cultural moment is worth jumping into. • Work across the team. Partner with creative, production, strategy, and data to turn ideas into work that gets out the door and gets results. • Know what’s working. Dig into performance, spot patterns, and use the data to make the work and the strategy better. • Client Leadership: Be a strategic partner who can lead with confidence, build presentation decks that wow, present ideas, push the thinking, and explain why the work will work. • This role can require support outside of normal business hours Requirements You’ll do well here if you can think big, move fast, and still sweat the details
• 5+ years of social experience, ideally in an agency or similarly fast-moving environment • A strong creative eye and a track record of making content that performs without losing the brand • Highly organized and very focused on client asks, projects, and deadlines at once • Deep social knowledge, including platform trends, algorithms, native tools, reporting, and social analytics platforms • A great communicator who can disseminate information clearly and push the needle forward • Curious, plugged in, and always looking for what’s next Benefits Raindrop is a people-first agency. We stand behind the vision of being an agency people want to work for and with.
