The Flowery is seeking enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtenders to join our growing team in Newburgh, NY. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on cannabis products, driving sales, and maintaining a welcoming, professional, and compliant retail environment. We are looking for motivated individuals who are passionate about cannabis, eager to learn, and committed to creating an outstanding shopping experience for every customer. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales
• Greet every customer with a welcoming and professional attitude.

- Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
- Educate customers on product categories, strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, and consumption methods.
- Recommend complementary products and promotional offers to increase average transaction value.
- Meet individual and team sales goals.
- Maintain a positive, efficient, and personalized customer experience.
• Accurately process transactions through the Dutchie POS system.

- Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with New York State cannabis regulations.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and register accountability.
- Restock merchandise, organize displays, and maintain product presentation standards.
- Assist with daily opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming sales floor.
- Follow company policies regarding inventory handling, security, and loss prevention.
• Stay informed about new cannabis products, brands, promotions, and industry trends. • Participate in mandatory training sessions and vendor product education. • Communicate effectively with management and fellow team members. • Support store events, brand activations, and promotional initiatives. • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and accountability during every shift. Requirements Qualifications & Requirements
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
- Cannabis industry experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment preferred.
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
- Knowledge of cannabis strains, cannabinoids, terpenes, and consumption methods is a plus.
- Experience with consultative selling preferred.
- Experience upselling complementary products.
- Experience educating first-time shoppers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine retail duties.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Weekend availability is required.
- Must be willing to work evenings and holidays as business needs require.
- Must meet applicable New York State cannabis employee eligibility and training requirements.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
