Part Time Weekend Mother's Helper – Studio City, CA
A welcoming family in Studio City, CA 91604 is seeking an engaging, reliable weekend mother's helper to support parents with their 1-year-old baby and 3-year-old toddler in a smoke-free, pet-free home. The target start date is the first weekend of December for an anticipated one-year duration.
Schedule:
- Saturdays and Sundays
- Up to 10 hours per weekend
- Hours set monthly with 30 days' advance notice
Family Specifications:
- Smoke-free home
- Pet-free home
- Parents will be home during shifts; looking for a collaborative second pair of hands
- Values reading, music, interactive educational activities, and a screen-free care environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on childcare support for a 1-year-old baby and 3-year-old toddler alongside the parents
- Engage the children in age-appropriate, screen-free activities, including reading, music, and interactive play
- Assist with meal and snack preparation for the children
- Assist with diaper changing and potty training support
- Handle light housekeeping duties related to childcare (e.g., tidying play areas, children's laundry, and cleaning children's dishes/bottles)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in infant and toddler caregiving (e.g., as a mother's helper, babysitter, or nanny)
Compensation:
- $19-20 per hour
