Job Description: Executive / Assistant Manager – Production & Distribution Planning Job Summary: Responsible for coordinating production and distribution planning to ensure product availability, optimal inventory levels, and timely supply to distribution centers and customers. Key Responsibilities:
•
- Prepare and coordinate production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory levels, and business requirements.
- Monitor production schedules and coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Plan product allocation, replenishment, and stock transfers across warehouses and distribution centers.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock availability, and potential shortages or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to align supply with demand.
- Track planning KPIs, including production plan adherence, inventory availability, and order fulfilment.
- Identify planning gaps, analyze issues, and coordinate corrective actions to minimize delays and stock-outs.
- Prepare regular MIS reports and dashboards on production, inventory, and distribution performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and optimize supply chain costs.
