Job Summary Lumel is seeking skilled Automation Test Engineers with 2 to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test automation frameworks, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality.
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation framework improvements.
- Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
- Ensure test coverage and maintain test documentation.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint ceremonies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation.
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver/Playwright.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Java / Python / JavaScript/Typescript.
- Experience with test frameworks like TestNG / JUnit / POM / Hybrid.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman / REST Assured).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps).
- Experience in version control systems like Git.
- Strong logical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of performance testing tools
- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure) is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of database testing (SQL queries).
- Experience in BI/Data Analytics testing is a plus.
