SENIOR DEVELOPER – WEB & MOBILE APPLICATIONS

We Want To Change The World. We Believe It Starts With Education. In India, 100 million children from low-income communities grow up without access to the 21st-century skills they need to thrive — from emotional intelligence and digital literacy to everyday money management. This gap leads to a lifetime of limited opportunity, intergenerational poverty, and rising mental health concerns. What Are We Doing? At The Apprentice Project (TAP), we're building India's boldest bet on education equity — an AI-powered learning buddy that helps thousands of government school students unlock 21st-century skills. We don't just teach coding or financial literacy — we spark self-confidence, creativity, and lifelong curiosity in children who've been told to "stay in their lane." We're not looking for employees. We're looking for co-builders — people who want to create generational change, one student at a time. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a senior engineer who can do both — write production-grade code and lead the team that ships it. You've built and operated web and mobile applications at scale, and you know what it takes to keep them stable, secure, and fast in the real world. You're comfortable making architecture decisions, running code reviews, managing a distributed team of 4–7 engineers, and still getting your hands dirty when it matters. You take end-to-end ownership seriously — from the first line of code to what happens in production at 2am. If you want to lead the engineering of a platform that reaches thousands of students every day — you'll thrive here. Why Join Us? Because the applications you build and lead are not internal tools — they are what students, teachers, and program teams interact with every day. Every architectural decision you make, every engineer you mentor, and every release you ship has a direct line to the learning experience of thousands of children in government schools across India. You'll work on a genuinely interesting stack — Flutter, React, AI integrations, real-time data, and WhatsApp-based learning — in a context where the stakes are real. If you want to lead engineering that matters — this is the place. What You Can Expect?

  • Supportive culture: Collaborative teams, open communication, and shared purpose.
  • Sector-aligned compensation: Competitive salary in line with experience and nonprofit standards.
