Job Description We are currently seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer to join our vibrant team. As a Deputy Chief Engineer you play a vital role in ensuring our properties deliver an experience beyond expectation, creating memorable moments for our guests.
- Manage day-to-day engineering operations and maintenance.
- Monitor energy management, energy conservation, and utility consumption.
- Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical systems, HT/LT panels, UPS, and DG sets.
- Supervise HLP, WTP, and STP operations.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and timely breakdown rectification.
- Handle Fire & Life Safety (FLS), statutory audits, compliance, and safety requirements.
- Manage engineering projects, vendor coordination, and team supervision.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of all engineering systems and maintain guest comfort.
Qualifications
- Proven experience, 15 years or above, in property maintenance with strong problem solving capabilities, preferably in a high- inventory hotel with extensive guest rooms and banquet facilities.
- Excellent leadership skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
- Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
- Ability to find creative solutions, offering advice and recommendations
