The Senior Architect drives the architectural design of projects — from design development through construction documentation. This role requires both design sensibility and technical rigour, ensuring that the architectural intent is beautifully conceived and precisely buildable. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Lead architectural design development for assigned projects • Prepare and review architectural drawings — plans, sections, elevations, and details • Develop construction documentation packages — GFC drawings, schedules, specifications • Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for design integration • Review and approve shop drawings and material submittals for architectural elements • Conduct site visits to verify architectural execution quality • Guide and review work of junior architects and draftspersons in the team • Participate in client design presentations and respond to design queries
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Drawing delivery: All architectural drawings issued per programme — zero delays to site
- Quality: Zero site-rejected drawings due to design errors
- Coordination: All consultant coordination completed before GFC drawing issue
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of architectural design experience
- High-rise residential experience mandatory
- B.Arch qualification
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit / BIM preferred
- Strong detailing skills — facades, joinery, material interfaces
