Kirby Kia of Ventura is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor . This opportunity is suited to a seasoned advisor who can manage a busy service drive, explain repair recommendations clearly, and build lasting customer relationships. Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary contact between customers and the service department.
- Serve as the primary contact between customers and the service department.
- Listen to vehicle concerns and document accurate repair orders.
- Explain recommended maintenance, repairs, estimates, and completion timelines.
- Obtain customer approval before authorizing additional work.
- Coordinate with technicians and parts staff to monitor repair progress.
- Verify warranty or service-contract coverage and obtain applicable authorizations.
- Keep customers informed about changes in cost, timing, and vehicle status.
- Review completed work and final invoices with customers.
- Maintain accurate records and follow dealership procedures.
Qualifications
• Previous automotive dealership service advisor experience.
- Previous automotive dealership service advisor experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple repair orders in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair terminology.
- Experience preparing estimates and explaining repair recommendations.
- Familiarity with dealership management systems and warranty processes preferred.
- Kia or Hyundai dealership experience is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: Annual earnings range of $50,000–$100,000 , depending on experience and dealership approval.
- Benefits: Benefits package and eligibility details will be discussed during the interview.
- Schedule: Specific work hours and Saturday requirements will be discussed during the interview.
