Procurement Manager – Electrical

About the job
- Manage complete procurement activities for power transmission and distribution projects.
- Review BOQ, drawings, specifications, project scope, and procurement requirements .
- Prepare procurement plans based on project schedules and material requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for HT/LT cables, cable accessories, transformers, RMUs, switchgears, panels, poles, towers, earthing materials, and other electrical items .
- Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements, and negotiate prices and commercial terms .
- Review technical and commercial offers in coordination with Engineering and Project teams.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty, and other commercial conditions .
- Prepare and review Purchase Orders, subcontract agreements, and procurement documents .
- Monitor material production, inspections, delivery schedules, and site requirements.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, QS, Commercial, Finance, and Stores teams .
- Maintain approved supplier/vendor database and evaluate supplier performance.
- Control procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost saving and better commercial terms .
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delivery, specifications, and payments.
- Maintain procurement records, reports, commitments, and pending order status.
- Strong UAE experience in power transmission/distribution projects is mandatory.
- Experience: 12–16 Years | Location: UAE Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering / Procurement / Supply Chain or relevant field
