Key Responsibilities • IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases. • System Security: Ensure robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data, including patient information and intellectual property. • Software and Applications: Manage enterprise software, including ERP systems, CRM tools, and other applications critical to pharmaceutical operations. • Compliance: Ensure IT systems comply with industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11. • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a culture of innovation. • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal service delivery. • Budget Management: Develop and monitor the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology. • Support and Troubleshooting: Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for end-users. • Digital Transformation: Drive digital initiatives, including cloud adoption, data analytics, and process automation. • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Education Qualifications • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Preferred: Master’s degree in IT Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. • Certifications: Industry certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) are advantageous. • Experience: Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector, with knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
