Frontend Software Engineer

About the company Our client is a fast-growing software company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Create and deliver customer-facing web interfaces and data views from concept through release. Partner with backend colleagues and talk directly with users to improve usability, while making key decisions about how the frontend is structured. What you'll do - Deliver web interface features from start to finish, including dashboards, analytics views and configuration tools. - Hand-write production-quality code in React and TypeScript. - Partner with backend and full-stack engineers within a frontend-focused group. - Talk with customers during onboarding and troubleshooting, and translate what you hear into usability improvements. - Make frontend architecture decisions and iterate quickly in a fast-moving startup setting. Requirements What we're looking for - Current, hands-on React work as a frontend engineer in your present or most recent job. - Expert React proficiency, including the ability to code without AI assistance. - Production experience with TypeScript and Node.js. - 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience. - At least one prior role at a respected technology employer or a fast-growing startup. - 1.5+ years of experience working in a startup environment. - A bachelor's degree in a computing or electrical engineering discipline from a highly regarded university. - Willingness to keep an intense, extended-hours schedule. - Ability to work on-site five days per week. Bonus points - The university expectation may be relaxed for candidates with strong startup or top-employer experience.
