About the company Our client is a law firm. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Join a litigation group as a mid-level associate defending employers in workplace disputes. You will work alongside several partners and take on meaningful responsibility early, from motion drafting to depositions. What you'll do - Defend employers in individual employment claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, and accommodation disputes. - Handle representative-action and class action matters. - Prepare for, take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs and corporate witnesses. - Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions. - Collaborate with multiple partners across their practices and with clients. Requirements What we're looking for - Three to five years of employment litigation practice in California. - A JD and an active license to practice law in California. - Hands-on experience with depositions, motion practice and court appearances. - Capacity to run daily casework with a fair degree of autonomy. - Strong legal research and writing skills and a solid academic record. - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Willingness to submit a writing sample with your application. Benefits Compensation and benefits - Base salary: USD 225,000 to 245,000 per year Location and work model - Los Angeles, CA, United States - Hybrid, 3 days per week in office - Full-time
