Research Analyst

About the company Our client is a financial services company. The role Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Work closely with investment professionals to understand how they research and make decisions, then turn that understanding into automated, data-driven workflows. Combine finance expertise with hands-on technical work, and share structured feedback with product and engineering colleagues to shape future development. What you'll do - Work on-site with portfolio managers and research analysts to learn their current processes and find opportunities for automation. - Build production-quality workflows that streamline research and analysis. - Partner with engineers to turn field insights into data connectors and reusable automation components. - Use the company's platform daily and give clear, structured feedback to the product team. - Document best practices across research, risk, operations and data science as reusable playbooks. - Write up findings and recommendations for stakeholders and collaborate across teams to improve solutions over time. Requirements What we're looking for - A solid background in investment research, whether qualitative, quantitative or data-driven, gained at a well-regarded financial firm. - Regular, genuine use of AI tools in daily work, with informed opinions on their strengths and limits. - Hands-on experience with financial data providers such as Bloomberg or FactSet. - Several practical projects built with AI, such as a portfolio of personal or side projects. - Experience across more than one investment discipline, or client-facing experience. - Technical skills with data APIs, SQL and Python for data processing. - Ability to build trust quickly and handle open-ended conversations with senior investors and executives.
