About the role:
We are looking for Portfolio manager to manager paylater portfolio within Transactional Credit vertical of PayU Finance. This would include management of both in house paylater brand - Lazypay and merchant partnership whitelabel paylater programs. The scope of the role would be:

• Leading the strategic effort to cross-sell and migrate whitelabled program users to in-house Lazypay paylater
Key responsibilities:
• Portfolio Management & Growth
• Own engagement, activation and spends metrics across Lazypay BNPL and other whitelabel programs; build cohort, vintage and RFM-style analyses to identify growth and risk pockets
• Design and run programs to lift transacting user %, frequency and ticket size – offers, limit management, category unlocks, nudges and lifecycle campaigns
• Track program-level P&L drivers and figure out initiatives to drive profitability
• Partner with Risk, Collections, Product and the merchant-facing teams to balance growth with portfolio quality
• Support onboarding of 2–3 new partner programs this year – defining success metrics, monitoring ramp-up, and feeding learnings back into portfolio strategy.
• Whitelabel-to-Lazypay Platform Migration
• Lead the initiative to bring existing whitelabel users onto the Lazypay platform, leveraging their existing KYC to enable a simplified, high-conversion onboarding flow
• Build the customer identification and prioritization logic (dedup, segmentation, propensity to activate) across programs
• Design merchant-independent activation strategies
• Define and pilot incentive structures (offers, limit bumps, cashback) to drive first transaction on Lazypay post-migration
• Build the measurement framework (funnel from eligible base → outreach → install → activation → repeat spends)
What we are looking for
• Strong analytical foundation: comfort with SQL, Excel and Python: able to independently pull, structure and interpret large transaction/customer datasets.
• Portfolio / growth experience: prior exposure to lending, BNPL, cards, payments or subscription businesses where engagement and portfolio quality were tracked and actioned.
• Program / project management: ability to run multi-stakeholder initiatives end-to-end – from problem framing to pilot to scale – with minimal hand-holding
• A person with bias for execution, can run multiple experiments
• Good to have: Cross-functional influence: experience working with Risk, Compliance, Product, Tech and Collections; comfortable navigating ambiguity
