Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in the individualized care of the patient to achieve the patients highest level of wellness. This role is an essential member of the care team, performing both clinical procedures and non-clinical support tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

📚 Training Program 👩‍⚕️ No experience? No problem! Mercy provides a 175-hour, Department of Health and Senior Services–approved training program , completed during new hire orientation (must be finished within 90 days). 🎓 Our PCA training is also an accredited Department of Labor Apprenticeship Program , offering valuable hands-on experience and credentials.

🩹 Requirements: • BLS certification within 1 month of hire • PCA competencies completed within 3 months ✅ Qualifications: Education: • High School Diploma or G.E.D • Enrolled in a healthcare career program (including high school programs) • Mercy co-workers encouraged to apply
