Job Description **Responsibilities**
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hotel building systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house facilities to identify maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff, troubleshooting problems and implementing timely solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment servicing in the facility management system
- Collaborate with the Facilities Manager and maintenance team to develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Perform repairs and replacements of fixtures, appliances, and building components while adhering to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, and organized manner in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Other general maintenance as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Proficiency in facility management systems and computerized maintenance management software
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
- Physical capability to perform demanding maintenance tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
