About the job
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with startup founders, promoters, and CXOs to generate new business opportunities
- Conduct outbound outreach through calls, LinkedIn, email, networking, and referrals
- Understand founders’ business requirements and identify relevant fundraising or strategic opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients
- Schedule meetings and coordinate discussions between founders and the internal investment banking team
- Develop long-term relationships with founders and key decision-makers
- Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle and drive conversions
- Maintain accurate records of leads, interactions, and opportunities in CRM
- Stay updated on the startup ecosystem, fundraising trends, M&A activity, and market developments
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, Financial Services, or Investment Banking
- Strong experience in lead generation, cold calling, prospecting, and client acquisition
- Ability to confidently communicate with founders, promoters, CXOs, and senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Target-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
