About the role
The Technical Architect is central to the successful delivery of cross-cloud Salesforce projects at PhiX, with a deep specialism in Revenue Cloud, Billing and monetization. You combine technical expertise with solution design skills to build scalable, efficient and secure solutions across Data, Revenue and AI that meet our clients' business requirements, and you create reusable assets we can deploy across multiple clients.
As a trusted Salesforce partner and member of the Salesforce Revenue Cloud Partner Advisory Board, a significant part of our work is remediation: helping enterprise clients recover from implementations that did not land, and establishing sustainable, compliant Revenue Cloud operations on a sound data foundation. You will be central to that work.
What you'll do
Technical leadership
- Design and implement custom code solutions using Apex, JavaScript and Lightning Web Components
- Lead the technical delivery of Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementations, including billing remediation projects
- Run technical process reviews and advise on data, deployment, SSO and large data volumes
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges in Lead-to-Cash operations
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices
Solution architecture
- Collaborate with Solution Architects to produce detailed, sound solution designs
- Develop data models for customizations that support complex revenue operations
- Design data architecture, migration and integration strategies, including Data Cloud, large data volumes and integration with finance systems
- Implement solutions that meet business requirements and drive process improvement
Release management and mentoring
- Act as project subject matter expert for deployment and release management: tools, best practices and source control
- Define, manage and execute environment and deployment strategies
- Commit changes to source control, open pull requests, and review and merge work
- Execute data deployments and final releases to production with rollback capability
- Manage technical collateral for handoff at engagement completion
- Coach and mentor junior technical team members
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of Salesforce platform development experience
- Revenue Cloud (CPQ and Billing) implementation experience
- Experience with data architecture, data migration and large data volumes on the Salesforce platform
- Strong Apex experience, with the ability to review code and give feedback on best practices
- Expertise in JavaScript and Lightning Web Components (Visualforce a plus)
- Experience integrating web services (SOAP, REST, JSON)
- Experience with design patterns and test-driven development
- Hands-on experience executing deployments with DevOps tools such as Prodly or Copado
- Experience producing technical artifacts, including configuration and technical design documents
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for varied audiences
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Platform App Builder and Platform Developer I
Nice to have
- Revenue Cloud certifications (Revenue Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, Billing Superbadges)
- Data Cloud or Agentforce experience or certifications
- Data Architect or Sharing and Visibility Architect certification
- Platform Developer II certification
- Service Cloud experience or certification
Candidates will be asked to complete a technical exercise as part of the interview process.
