About the job
Experience: 4-5 years
What You Will Do : • Design, build and maintain automated test suites for web applications, APIs and cloud services to catch regressions before they reach users. • Plan and execute functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing, from individual applications through to journeys that span several systems. • Support system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) on major releases, including the transformation programme, working with business colleagues on scenarios and test data. • Partner with engineers during design and development to identify edge cases, risk areas and failure modes early. • Apply and help define release quality gates so "ready to ship" means the same thing to everyone. • Investigate defects and production issues then work backward to close the gaps in coverage that let them through. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines so quality feedback is fast and continuous. • Use AI in everyday testing work, from generating test cases and test data to analysing results and help identify where it creates real value. • Track and report quality metrics such as defect trends, coverage and escaped defects. • Share what you learn and help colleagues move from manual to automated ways of working. Requirements What We Are Looking For • Solid experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation. • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and API testing tools (for example Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman or similar). • Experience testing web applications and APIs, ideally cloud-based, with an understanding of how services and integrations fit together. • Understanding of agile delivery and how testing fits into CI/CD. • A methodical mindset: you think through what could go wrong before it does. • Clear communication: you can explain risk, defects and trade-offs to both technical and nontechnical people. • Interest in using AI to make testing faster and smarter. • Good English communication skills, written and spoken. • An advantage: experience with Azure, SAP, CargoWise, performance testing or the logistics industry. Tooling & Environment : You do not need experience with every tool listed. Strong testing fundamentals and the ability to learn matter more. • Applications: web applications and services built in C#, .NET and ASP.NET Core • Cloud: Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, App Service and other cloud-native services • Integration: REST APIs, Azure Service Bus, event-driven and asynchronous patterns • Business platforms: SAP S/4HANA, CargoWise, Carlo and Dynamics 365 • Delivery: Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines • Testing: CALM, TestRail, automated UI, API and integration testing frameworks • AI: AI-assisted test design, generation and analysis
