EDI Mapper / Developer IBM Sterling Integrator (Map Editor & B2B Integrator) Experience 5-8 Years Type Development – 5+ Years Dev / 1 Year Support
Industry B2B / Supply Chain / Retail Position Overview We are seeking an experienced EDI Mapper / Developer with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) and Sterling B2B Integrator. The candidate will design, develop, and maintain complex EDI mappings and business processes for seamless B2B data exchange across trading partner ecosystems. Key Responsibilities EDI Mapping & Transformation:
• Design, develop, and maintain B2B EDI mappings using IBM Sterling Integrator Map Editor
- Design, develop, and maintain B2B EDI mappings using IBM Sterling Integrator Map Editor
- Create and configure EDI-to-XML, XML-to-EDI, flat file-to-EDI, and EDI-to-flat file transformations
- Develop reusable map templates and mapping specifications aligned with partner requirements
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy during translation across all supported formats
• Build, configure, and deploy business process workflows using the Graphical Process Modeler (GPM)

- Design and implement inbound/outbound EDI transaction flows within SI environment
- Configure correlation IDs, document tracking, and audit trails
- Develop and maintain service configurations, adapters, and communication protocols
• Implement data validation rules, error handling, and exception management mechanisms

- Troubleshoot and resolve mapping and business process issues in Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Provide production support for EDI transactions and partner onboarding (1 year support experience acceptable)
- Document mapping specifications, business process flows, and partner profiles
• Work with X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards across all major transaction sets • Handle common transaction sets: 850 (PO), 856 (ASN), 810 (Invoice), 997 (FA), 855, 860, 862, 832, and others • Implement partner-specific requirements, custom loops, segments, and qualifiers • Configure and manage AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP communication protocols Required Qualifications Experience:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator / Sterling B2B Integrator
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator / Sterling B2B Integrator
- Proven track record delivering end-to-end B2B EDI integration projects
- Strong background in map development lifecycle: requirements, design, build, test, deploy
- Experience in production support, incident resolution, and partner communication
• Core: Sterling Integrator Map Editor, Graphical Process Modeler (GPM), SI Admin Console

- EDI Standards: X12 (4010, 5010), EDIFACT (D96A, D01B)
- Data Formats: EDI, XML, CSV, fixed-width flat files, JSON
- Protocols: AS2, SFTP, FTP, HTTP/S, MQ
- Languages: Basic XSLT, XPath; scripting knowledge is a plus
• Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway or IBM B2B Cloud solutions
- Experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway or IBM B2B Cloud solutions
- Familiarity with supply chain, retail, or healthcare EDI processes
- Knowledge of partner onboarding, trading partner agreements, and compliance
- Understanding of data mapping best practices, version control, and documentation standards
- Accurate, efficient EDI maps enabling seamless B2B data exchange
- Configured and tested business process workflows for inbound/outbound transactions
- Complete mapping specification documents and partner profile documentation
- Timely resolution of production issues with root cause analysis.
