Silgan Closures is seeking a Production Supervisor to support daily operations at our Evansville manufacturing facility. This position provides leadership to union employees while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of metal closures.

What You Will Do:
- Supervise union employees in a production manufacturing operation
- Ensure compliance with safety programs, food safety regulations, and quality management standards
- Apply SOPs, SPC, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement principles
- Manage production flow, equipment performance, and staffing to meet manufacturing targets
- Track productivity, efficiency, waste reduction, and manufacturing KPIs
- Maintain labor agreement compliance while assigning work and managing attendance
- Communicate effectively across shifts with maintenance, quality, engineering, and manufacturing operations teams
What You’ll Bring:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, engineering, or related field is a plus
- Prior experience as a production supervisor, manufacturing supervisor, shift supervisor, or operations supervisor
- Experience supervising employees in a union manufacturing or industrial manufacturing environment preferred
