Job Description: As part of the Wegmans manufacturing team, you will play an integral behind-the-scenes role to help keep the entire operation running smoothly. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging all the fine ingredients to be used in producing Wegmans Brand products. If you love working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, then this is the role for you!
What You'll Do
- Properly label all containers and carts and fill out electronic records accordingly
- Perform quality checks and properly handle products to ensure they meet food safety standards
- Practice safety techniques
- Operate machinery and equipment while following food and human safety guidelines
- Follow guidelines and labor laws, safely completing work, and maintaining a clean work environment
Requirements
- 2 or more years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Customer service and teamwork experience
