Waste Connections is currently hiring for a Roll Off Truck Driver at our hauling location in Monroe, Louisiana . This is a full-time, physically active position that requires working outdoors in all weather conditions. We’re looking for safety-conscious individuals who take pride in their work and want to be part of a dependable, team-driven environment.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Shift: 5:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a roll off truck to pick up and transport waste containers from residential and commercial locations
- Follow route sheets and instructions provided by dispatch to ensure timely and complete service
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance such as checking fluids, lights, and tires
- Operate hydraulic controls to lift, secure, and empty containers in a safe and efficient manner
- Work independently in a physically demanding environment, including loading and unloading without assistance as needed
- Maintain courteous and professional interactions with customers
- Comply with all local, state, and federal transportation and safety regulations
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Class A CDL Preferred, no manual restriction
- Clean driving record with a minimum of 1 year of roll off driving experience
