As a Databricks Architect +Genie you will design and build data platforms, pipelines, integrations, and transformation solutions that help clients turn raw data into actionable insights, within our Advisory practice and Data, Analytics & AI services. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior professionals, manage workstreams, and use sound judgment to review deliverables across multiple client needs while applying data engineering methods, cloud platform knowledge, and Databricks experience to support business outcomes. In this role at PwC, you will guide client delivery across data modernization efforts, coordinate timelines and priorities, and contribute to architecture decisions that support scalable data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Leading Databricks architecture workstreams for data modernization engagements
- Designing and building cloud-based data pipelines, integration flows, and transformation layers
- Guiding teams in developing data lake and data warehouse solutions that support analytics and reporting
- Managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables across multiple client priorities
- Applying Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and Snowflake in solution design and delivery
- Reviewing data architecture, modeling, security, and performance tuning approaches for scalable implementations
- Coaching team members on data engineering methods, delivery practices, and technical problem solving
- Identifying data quality, validation, and troubleshooting issues across complex data environments
- Translating business needs into data platform strategies and implementation plans
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9+ years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics
- Demonstrating Databricks architecture delivery across data modernization programs
- Utilizing Genie, AI, and cloud platforms in client-facing solutions
- Leading project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion activities
- Mentoring teams through feedback, coaching, and performance conversations
- Translating complex data system interactions into delivery decisions
- Applying Agile delivery methods across analytics engineering workstreams
