Mental Health Worker - Dual Focus Unit - Full Time Days
As a Mental Health Worker, you'll be the eyes and ears of our dedicated care team—observing and documenting patients' physical, emotional, and social behaviors, and reporting key insights to the nursing staff. You’ll build therapeutic relationships, provide expert support during moments of anxiety, and assist patients with daily activities that promote healing and independence. Pursue this extraordinary opportunity to gain valuable frontline experience by helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and long-term well-being.
This is a full time, night shift position (7:30am- 4pm), includes working rotating weekends.
Required Criteria:
• High School Diploma or GED
- High School Diploma or GED
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Excellent Communication Skills
Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses. __________________
