Your Impact We’re looking for a Mid-Level Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team in Bowen Hills. You’ll work with teams across the business to understand their needs, build practical analytics solutions and turn data into clear, useful insights.This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with stakeholders as well as data. You’ll contribute to dashboards, reports, data models and analytical projects—and explore how AI and automation can make analytics more efficient, scalable and valuable. Please note, if successful, this postion will start in the new year.
A Day in the Life
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges and data needs.
- Contribute to the development of AI-enabled and agentic data workflows , including pipelines built with tools such as Claude and Snowflake .
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches, dashboards, reports and datasets.
- Build and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI and related tools.
- Contribute to data models, transformations and reporting structures.
- Analyse data to identify trends, performance opportunities and actionable insights.
- Support project scoping, requirements gathering, prioritisation and delivery.
- Help define success measures and track the outcomes of analytical work.
- Review existing reports and recommend improvements to usability, consistency and quality.
- Explore and apply AI-assisted tools and automation to improve the efficiency and scalability of analytics.
- Work with data, technology and business teams to resolve issues and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Your Strengths
- Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting or a related role.
- Experience designing or building AI-enabled or agentic workflows and data pipelines, particularly using Claude and Snowflake.
- Practical experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or a similar BI platform.
- A good understanding of data modelling, semantic models and analytical datasets.
- The ability to translate business needs into clear, useful analytical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in what the data means for the business.
- Confidence working with stakeholders and explaining insights in a straightforward way.
- An organised approach to managing requirements and contributing to multiple projects.
- An understanding of data quality, governance and good reporting practices.
- Curiosity about AI, automation and their potential to improve analytical work.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a willingness to share knowledge with others.
