We are excited to present an opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our thriving multidisciplinary private practice committed to delivering top-notch, client-focused care for individuals across all age groups. As a Speech Pathologist, you will have the chance to work with both adults and children, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on their communication and swallowing skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans for clients across various age groups.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies and interventions for speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, psychologists, and physiotherapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients.
- Educate clients and their families regarding communication strategies and therapy objectives.
- Maintain precise documentation and progress notes in accordance with practice protocols.
- Participate in continual professional development and foster a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- A recognised degree in Speech Pathology.
- Current registration with the Speech Pathology Association of Australia (or equivalent).
- Experience working with both adults and children is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices.
