Job Description We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Normal, United States location (305 W. Beaufort St.). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is an excellent opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive team that values efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional customer care.
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned routes within Normal and surrounding areas
- Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient service while maintaining detailed records of deliveries
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and handle customer inquiries or concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and well-maintained
- Accurately load, unload, and organize products for delivery, ensuring items are handled with care
- Maintain organized records of deliveries, customer signatures, and any delivery-related documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status, delays, or issues
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety protocols, and vehicle operation guidelines
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally at all times
- Adapt to changing schedules and delivery demands while maintaining a flexible, goal-oriented approach
Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license • Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving history • Must have access to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposes • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standards • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset • Ability to navigate using GPS technology and route planning tools • Physical capability to safely lift, carry, and load packages of varying sizes • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting delivery schedules • Valid proof of vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration • Willingness to pass a criminal background check • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm for customer service MBR Management Corporation is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
