Job Description We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Delivery Driver to join our team at our Normal, United States location (1910 E College Ave.). As a Delivery Driver, you'll be the face of our organization, bringing exceptional service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. This is a flexible opportunity perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy interacting with people while maintaining an efficient delivery schedule. You'll navigate your local routes, manage your time effectively, and ensure every delivery reflects our commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Safely operate a vehicle to deliver products to customers in assigned delivery areas within Normal and surrounding neighborhoods
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delivery times
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at each delivery stop, addressing customer inquiries and concerns with empathy
- Maintain accurate delivery records, including customer signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions or issues
- Perform vehicle safety checks and basic maintenance to ensure the delivery vehicle remains in optimal condition
- Handle packages and products with care, ensuring items arrive in excellent condition
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or customer feedback
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to maintain a clean driving record
- Build positive relationships with customers and represent the organization professionally at all times
- Meet daily delivery targets and performance goals while maintaining quality service standards
Qualifications • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license • Minimum 2 years of verified driving history • Access to a reliable, insured vehicle that meets company standards for delivery operations • Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record Check and meet company-specific driving standards • Must pass a criminal background check • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deliveries • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset • Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery schedules • Physical capability to safely lift and carry packages of varying weights • Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge (preferred) • Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and genuine enthusiasm for customer service • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed • Valid proof of vehicle insurance and current vehicle registration MBR Management Corporation is an equal opportunity employer committed to building an inclusive workplace.
