Compressor Mechanic (Temp-to-Hire) Start: ASPA Location: Houston TX 77081 Pay: $30-$42 Shift: 5am-1pm M-F (40 hour/ week)

Please send resumes to dguzman@enerstaffusa.com put Millwright in subject Job Description and Requirements Currently looking to hire a Rotating Equipment Mechanic with Compressor experience. Will be tearing down/ rebuilding pumps and compressors in shop environment.
- Must have experience with centrifugal and reciprocating compressors
- Service and provide preventive and corrective field mechanical service compressors.
- Disassembles repairs and reassembles components and equipment to ensure proper alignment, balance and tolerances.
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
- Maintenance tasks including equipment troubleshooting, installation/removal, and repair.
- May be required to perform machine tool work using lathes, mills, saws, etc.
- Remove and clean compressor rotors
- Replace and install gear boxes
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings Inspecting equipment by checking bearing clearances rotor conditions, etc.
- Install, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair, and overhaul various types of compressors following manufacturer's instructions and/or company polices.
- Perform compressor repairs with disassembly (including mechanical seal removal)
- Maintain accurate record keeping, reports and send reports to supervisor
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational and training opportunities; reading technical publications, attending continuing education if necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to read and understand mechanical drawings required.
- Must pass Background & Drug Screen
