Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Location: North Carolina Work Setting: Remote / Telehealth Position: Full-Time Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year with full benefits Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Position Overview This remote LMFT role serves clients across North Carolina who are looking for support with concerns at home or in their relationships. Sessions may involve one person, a couple, or several family members depending on the situation. You may work with clients navigating separation, parenting disagreements, blended-family changes, grief, recurring tension, or other circumstances that are putting pressure on relationships. The role calls for someone who can keep sessions focused, handle sensitive conversations well, and stay organized with the clinical work that follows. What You’ll Do
• Facilitate virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Facilitate virtual sessions with individuals, couples, and families
- Explore recurring issues that may be affecting relationships at home
- Support clients during separation, parenting changes, loss, or family transitions
- Keep conversations productive when emotions or disagreements run high
- Record relevant information from each appointment
- Keep required case files complete and current
- Coordinate with other professionals when another type of service is involved
- Protect client privacy and maintain appropriate boundaries
- Follow North Carolina LMFT, HIPAA, and professional requirements
• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
- Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
- Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
- Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and ethical clinical practice
- Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms
- Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation
- Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions
