Job Description – Safety Engineer (IBMS/ELV) | Ahmedabad | Contractual Role Position Title: Safety Engineer – IBMS/ELV Projects (Contractual) Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Employment Type: Contractual (1-Year Contract, Renewable based on performance and business requirements) Reporting To: Project Manager / EHS Manager Role Summary We are looking for a Safety Engineer to oversee Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance across IBMS, ELV, BMS, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Networking and Integrated Building Technology projects. The incumbent will be responsible for implementing site safety programs, ensuring statutory compliance, conducting risk assessments, and fostering a strong safety culture at project sites. Key Responsibilities Safety Management
• Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and safety standards at project sites.

- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and customer safety requirements.
- Carry out Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessment before commencement of activities.
• Monitor installation, testing and commissioning activities related to: Building Management Systems (BMS) Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS) CCTV Surveillance Systems Access Control Systems (ACS) Fire Alarm Systems Structured Cabling & Networking

- Ensure safe execution of electrical and low-voltage works.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions.

- Maintain permits to work (PTW) and safety documentation.
- Ensure PPE compliance across the workforce and subcontractors.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Organize safety awareness programs.

- Coordinate with customer EHS teams and regulatory authorities.
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Engineering.
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Engineering.
- Diploma in Industrial Safety / Advanced Safety Certification preferred.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent would be an advantage.
• 3-8 years of experience in construction, electrical, IBMS, BMS, ELV, CCTV, or building automation projects.

- Experience handling large commercial, industrial, data center, pharma, IT park, or manufacturing projects preferred.
- Hands-on experience in: Work at Height Electrical Safety Permit to Work System Contractor Safety Management Incident Investigation
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and statutory compliance.
- Risk Assessment & Hazard Identification.
- Safety Audits and Inspections.
- Emergency Response Planning.
- MS Office and documentation management.
