As a SAP ABAP - Technology Director you will lead SAP program management efforts within our Advisory practice, shaping technology solutions that support finance transformation and ERP delivery. As a Director you will set direction across multiple workstreams, guide business development, and bring executive-level client relationships to complex SAP Core ERP engagements. In this role at PwC, you will oversee SAP ABAP delivery, align solution design with Finance Technology - SAP Core ERP needs, and help translate business goals into practical technology actions.
Within our Technology Consulting network, you will lead teams across SAP planning, implementation, and optimization activities for finance, customer, and supply chain processes. You will bring a strategic view to issue resolution, build trust with senior stakeholders, and help mentor future leaders while supporting the broader SAP competency. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to SAP Core ERP initiatives, coordinate across multiple priorities, and help advance technology-enabled business transformation for clients and the firm.
Responsibilities
- Setting strategic direction for SAP Core ERP program management across finance technology engagements
- Leading executive-level client discussions on SAP ABAP delivery, transformation priorities, and roadmap decisions
- Overseeing multiple workstreams across design, build, testing, deployment, and post-launch support
- Shaping program plans, scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for complex SAP initiatives
- Driving business development activities by identifying client needs and converting them into program opportunities
- Translating finance, customer, and supply chain requirements into SAP Core ERP solutions and ABAP technical approaches
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and finance stakeholders during large-scale transformations
- Directing status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and dependency tracking for program delivery
- Applying SAP project management methods, Agile practices, and project management tools to track progress and delivery milestones
- Developing business cases, benefits realization plans, and process improvements that support enterprise-wide SAP footprints
- Guiding design decisions for S/4HANA finance capabilities and ERP model system deployments
- Adhering to professional and technical standards, code of conduct, and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 9 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
