ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage engineering team building an AI-powered integration platform for businesses. You will own core systems across the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime, helping establish the foundations for the product as it grows.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and operate the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end to end.
- Set engineering patterns and practices that support the work of future engineers.
- Work directly with company founders to shape the system and regularly ship production improvements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Two to nine years of professional software engineering experience, with a broad background beyond machine learning alone.
- A completed or in-progress bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field from a strong technical university.
- Experience repeatedly shipping and owning production systems end to end, with demonstrated ability across agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes.
- Comfort using multiple AI coding agents while applying sound judgment to production quality.
- Experience founding a startup with outside funding or full-time employees, or engineering at an early-stage startup backed by a recognized accelerator or venture capital firm.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, or AWS is relevant to the stack.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available where an O-1 visa is a realistic option.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week. Candidates elsewhere in the United States should have a concrete, dated plan to relocate to San Francisco.
