ABOUT THE ROLE
Own prelaunch growth for an early-stage consumer AI hardware startup building a private way to interact with computers. You will work closely with the founder and a small founding team, growing the waitlist and shaping how people first understand the product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Build and grow the prelaunch waitlist, the role's primary success measure.
- Create and distribute social content, starting with Instagram and LinkedIn, and test other promising channels.
- Develop messaging that communicates the value of private interaction with computers before the product is publicly available.
- Run quick growth experiments with a small paid budget, track signups, and invest in what converts.
- Own campaign planning, distribution, and the insights gathered from each effort.
- Plan and execute audience-building events when useful.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- At least 2 years in growth or marketing roles at early-stage startups, building audiences or waitlists.
- Experience growing an audience or waitlist from zero.
- Hands-on experience creating content for Instagram and LinkedIn, with an understanding of how social platforms distribute content.
- Experience managing paid acquisition budgets and running fast experiments to find effective signup channels.
- Comfort working independently in a small founding team and building from the ground up.
- Event planning and execution experience is helpful.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary is $60,000 to $70,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
