Product Development Engineer

• Participate in design verification activities and to help ensure that design / process meets the needs of the customer.
• Provide technical support to engineering teams as well as manufacturing and quality as needed. This may include but not limited to design work, testing, document management, etc.
• Rotate through multiple technical disciplines to broaden skills and experience

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical / industrial engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience

• Prior experience in a product development or manufacturing organization
• Experience presenting technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Demonstrated initiative through academic projects, internships, or process improvements
• Ability to quickly learn new tools, technologies, or engineering concepts
• Knowledge of manufacturing process will be considered as advantage
• Must be willing to move to a new role or location or division within the organization every 6 months, as a part of the program

• Knowledge in any of the following or related engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality, Plastics, Materials Science, Engineering Technology
• Familiar with solid modeling to generate 3D finite element models.
• Experience in manufacturing, injection molding, tooling, materials, part design, robotics and affiliated processes; to include secondary operations and automation, is preferred for most roles.
• Knowledge of Minitab, SAP, CAD, SolidWorks, Excel
• Understand Statistical Process Control (SPC), attribute charting, Xbar & R charts, process capability studies, Pareto and cause/effect charts and DOE
