Position: Physician Assistant - Per Diem Pay: $90/hr.
Per Diem Providers must be willing to float around to the following centers for their scheduled shifts: Kingston, Poughkeepsie, Wappingers Falls, & Fishkill

Job Requirements Education
• Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
- Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
- Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners
• 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
- 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required
- Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting required
- Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred
• National Certification
- National Certification
- Active state medical licensure
• Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
- Work experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
- Applicable office procedures including but not limited to suturing, splinting, etc.
- Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Ability to be attentive with strong listening skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Essential Functions Essential functions are those tasks, duties and responsibilities that comprise the means of accomplishing the job’s purpose and objectives. Essential functions are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. They are the major functions for which the person in the job is held accountable. Following are the essential functions of the job. - Examining and treating patients - Taking patients’ medical histories - Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays - Making diagnoses and prescribing medications - Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting - Recording progress notes for follow-up patients - Educating and counseling patients - Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients - Giving vaccinations, and referring patients to additional care - Each provider will work an anticipated four (4), eight (8) or twelve (12) hours per shift which will be assigned by an authorized representative of GoHealth Urgent Care - All other duties as assigned
