ABOUT THE ROLE
Join an early-stage AI infrastructure startup as Growth Lead, connecting with people across the frontier AI ecosystem. You will help shape recruiting, culture, and community while making complex technical products easy to understand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Communicate the company's vision and build interest through clear, engaging storytelling.
- Find and connect with candidates, AI researchers and engineers, and other important members of the AI ecosystem.
- Define company culture and values, and develop candidate screening and new hire onboarding processes.
- Own end-to-end recruiting in partnership with the Chief of Staff, improving systems, tools, and automated workflows.
- Partner with marketing and events teammates to host community gatherings, attend industry events, and create content.
- Work with go-to-market engineers to identify introductions and connection paths to priority leads.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience owning end-to-end recruiting and recruiting operations at an early-stage startup, including tools and workflow improvements.
- Ability to understand and accurately explain technical products related to frontier AI agents, reinforcement learning, and training data.
- Experience engaging people in technical communities through recruiting, go-to-market work, or ecosystem building.
- Experience shaping company culture and values, and creating onboarding processes.
- Experience organizing community or industry events, representing a company, and creating marketing or community content.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and comfort working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- A network in reinforcement learning research, engineering, or startup communities, plus professional writing samples.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $130,000 to $225,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
LOCATION
On-site in San Francisco, California.
